It is recently upgraded and good accessible by a woonden walkpath, around the side, but it is quite a walk.
With clear information boards along the trail.The site gives a very good idea of inhabitants 3000 or more years ago living in the Alentejo area, close to a river.The stones found there are red of iron and you can image how cast iron was made and traded.
